Programme Overview

Organisations within both the public and private sectors are increasingly recognising the advantage of employees with business psychology expertise, and this course will help you gain the competitive edge needed to fill those all-important industry skills gaps. This course covers the fundamental areas of business psychology, providing you with a strong foundation in research, theory, and practice. You’ll develop the skills you need to effectively apply psychology in the workplace, improving business functions at the individual, team, and organisational levels.

The course is led by an experienced academic team who between them possess multiple awards and publications, consultancy work with major organisations, and strong industry links. Through this, you’ll gain valuable insight into both the academic and practitioner aspects of business psychology, helping you graduate with the in-demand knowledge and skills you need to tackle some of today’s most pressing business issues.

Syllabus Content

Your course modules have been designed to develop your knowledge and skills in modern business psychology. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with the most up-to-date, internationally focused research across key areas such as workplace well-being, coaching and mentoring, managing transitions, and the practical application of psychological interventions in the workplace – helping you graduate from the course with the skills to make a real impact to individuals, organisations, and within your own career.

Dual Accreditation

Our MSc Business Psychology is dual accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) as well as the Association for Business Psychology (ABP). This coveted dual accreditation sets you apart in the job market, gives you professional recognition, and opens additional pathways to career development.

Attaining BPS accreditation means that as long as you achieve a second-class honours degree, you’ll be eligible for Graduate Chartered Membership, which is your first step to becoming a professional psychologist after graduation. During your course, you’ll also gain free BPS and ABP membership which gives you access to useful resources for career advice, networking opportunities, and free use of the extensive BPS library.
